Sub-Segment

This iconic installation features a digitally rendered goldfish bowl. Immerse yourself in this underwater world as you walk alongside gigantic goldfish.

Just like goldfishes, the short-term memory of persons with dementia are often limited, especially in the later stages of dementia. Nevertheless, it is important to treasure the precious memories with your loved ones, even if it is just a fleeting one.

Even when persons with dementia can no longer remember or retain memories, they still experience feelings of joy and sadness. Persons with dementia often face depression, and require the love and support from their family members.

Create memories and relive sentimental moments by taking photos with your loved ones in this exhibit. The photos can be uploaded through QR code and brought to life. Watch them appear on the screens in their very own fishbowl bubbles.

As the bubbles slowly fade away fade into a beautiful array of colours after some time, it encapsulates the memory loss faced by persons with dementia. However, instead of the mourning loss of a memory, celebrate the moment in this beautiful spectacle.

Rather than holding on to memories, why not treasure the moment and cherish the spend time with your loved ones?
